Work Academy IQ (“we”, “us”) operates the Work Academy IQ mobile app and this website. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. By using the app or the website you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide: full name, phone number, and (optionally) email, gender, and city.
- Learning activity: courses you enrol in, lessons watched and progress, exam attempts and scores, bookmarks and notes.
- Orders (where purchasing is enabled): items ordered, payment method chosen, and a delivery location you optionally provide for physical items.
- Device & technical data: a device identifier, app version, and basic logs used for security and to keep you signed in.
- Content you create: chat messages and voice messages you send to your trainer, and a profile photo if you add one.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in (via a one-time code sent to your phone).
- To deliver courses, track your progress, run exams, and provide trainer–student chat.
- To process and fulfil orders, and to provide customer support.
- To protect the service against abuse and to comply with the law.
Sharing & service providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with providers that run the service:
- Video storage & delivery (Vylo Storage) — to store and stream course videos.
- Messaging (Vylo OTP over WhatsApp, or an SMS provider) — to send your one-time login code.
- Payment providers — only when you make a purchase, to process that payment.
- Hosting — secure servers that store your account and content.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit your profile or delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & security → Delete account in the app (see Delete your account); deleting removes your personal data and learning history. You may also contact us to request access or deletion.
Minors
Work Academy IQ is a professional training service. Accounts for minors should be created and managed with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to learning content is protected by signed, time-limited links.
