Creating your account

You need an Iraqi mobile number. An email address is optional.

1. Press “Create an account” and type your mobile number. We send you a 6-digit code.
2. Type the code to confirm that the number is yours.
3. Write your full name twice — in English letters and in Arabic script — then your gender and a password. Your certificates print both names exactly as you write them.
4. To get receipts, exam bookings and certificates by email, add your email address in “My account”. We send a code to confirm it.

After that, sign in with your mobile number or your email and your password. Forgot your password? Press “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page.

One device at a time

Your account is open on one device at a time: the app on your phone or one browser.

When you sign in somewhere else, the other device is signed out at once. It then shows that you signed in on another device.

If that was not you, sign in again and change your password in “My account”.

Buying a course

Open the course and press “Buy now”. Checkout only shows the ways to pay that are open at the moment:

• FIB (First Iraqi Bank): pay in the FIB app — scan the QR code or open the app on your phone.
• Qi Card: pay with your card on Qi’s secure page.
• A transfer (ZainCash, AsiaHawala, FastPay and others): send the amount, then give us the transfer reference and a screenshot. We confirm it, usually within one working day.
• Cash at the centre: pay at the front desk in Duhok. The staff open the course on your account, or give you an access code with a QR code.
• An access code (from a printed card or a cash payment): press “I have an access code”, then type the code or scan its QR code.

Have a coupon? Type it at checkout to see your new total.

Before your first purchase we ask you to confirm your mobile number with a code, to keep your purchases safe.

The course opens as soon as the payment is confirmed. You keep it for the access period shown on the course page (usually one year) and can renew it from the course.

Watching lessons

• Your courses are in “My courses”. “Continue” takes you back to where you stopped.
• The first lesson of every course is a free preview: anyone can watch it before buying.
• Lessons play on the website and in the app only; they cannot be downloaded. Your name and account number move across the video.
• Please do not record or share the lessons: the name on the video shows whose account a copy came from.
• The player picks the best quality for your connection. You can choose one yourself under “Quality” in the player’s settings.
• A lesson counts as complete when you watch it almost to the end. The course book (PDF), if the course has one, is on the course page for enrolled students.

Quizzes

Many courses have practice quizzes. Open them from the course.

Some quizzes have a time limit: the timer is on the screen and the quiz ends when the time is up. Your answers are saved as you go.

After you submit, you see your score, whether you passed, and every question with the right answer and an explanation. You can take a quiz again; your attempts stay in the course.

The final exam

• The final exam is taken in person at the centre.
• Open “Final exams” in your account and press “Book your final exam”. Choose a session with free seats (times are Baghdad time). You need active access to the course.
• You get a confirmation with a calendar file, and a reminder the day before the exam.
• You can move or cancel the booking online until the time shown on it (normally 24 hours before the exam). After that, call us.
• Your result comes by email and in your account. If you fail or miss the exam, book a new session: a re-exam is free.

Your certificate

• When you pass the final exam, your certificate is issued automatically. It prints your names in English letters and in Arabic script exactly as they are in “My account”, so check them before the exam.
• Download the PDF or the image from “Certificates”. They stay in your account for good.
• Share it with “Add to LinkedIn”, Facebook or WhatsApp, or copy its link.
• Anyone can check a certificate on “Verify a certificate”: the QR code on the certificate opens its page.

Invoices and orders

Every paid order has an invoice (WA-INV-…). Download it from “Invoices”; it is also emailed to your confirmed email address.

“Orders” shows every order and where it stands. An order that is not paid yet can be paid again from there. A refund comes with a credit note.

Messages

In “Messages” you write to your trainers and to the Works Academy team: text, photos and voice messages.

You can message a course’s trainer while your access to the course is active: open the course and press “Message the trainer”.

The Works Academy team answers questions about your account, payments, exams and certificates at any time. If you have not read a reply after 30 minutes, we email you.

History and notifications

“History” lists everything on your account in order: courses opened and renewed, payments and invoices, lessons and courses completed, quizzes, exam bookings and results, and certificates.

“Notifications” (the bell) shows news about your orders, exams and certificates. In “My account” you choose whether you also get them on WhatsApp.

Your account

“My account” shows your account number (WA-…). Quote it when you contact us or pay at the centre.

There you also change your names, your password and your email address, and see the device you are signed in on.

To close your account, read “Delete account”.
