This page explains how to request deletion of your Work Academy IQ account and the data associated with it. Work Academy IQ is operated by Work Academy IQ in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Option 1 — Delete inside the app
- Open the Work Academy IQ app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is removed as described below.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from any address at contact@work-academyiq.com with the subject “Delete my account” and include the phone number registered to your account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: full name, phone number, email, gender, city, and profile photo.
- Your learning activity: course enrolments, lesson progress, exam attempts and scores, bookmarks and notes.
- Chat and voice messages you sent to trainers.
- All active sign-in sessions and device records.
What is kept, and for how long
- Order and payment records (where purchases were made) are retained for up to 12 months for legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.
